Liverpool FC have extended their contract with 28-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker by signing a long-term contract, the football club’s press service reports.
In 2018, Alisson Becker moved from Roma to Liverpool and signed a six-year contract. Thanks to this transfer, he became the most expensive goalkeeper in football history (EUR 72,500,000). During the past season, he played 42 matches during all the club tournaments, missed 41 goals, didn’t miss goals in 15 games and scored 1 goal, becoming the first goalkeeper to have scored a goal during official games in the history of Liverpool.
