Armenian Premier League bronze medalists Urartu—of the capital Yerevan—were hosted by the 15-time Slovenian football champions Maribor in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, but lost 1-0.
The return leg will be played in Yerevan on July 15.
In the second round, the winner of this pairing will face Swedish cup winners Hammarby.
