Armenia won its first title at the EUBC U22 European Boxing Championships in Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy.
Artur Bazeyan defeated all his opponents in the 56kg competition. In the final, he defeated Adam Hession (Ireland) by knockout, the press service of the Boxing Federation of Armenia reports.
This is the first championship title of Armenian boxing in prestigious tournaments this season.
