Nobel Arustamyan not accredited to Euro 2020 due to Baku organizing committee

Football commentator for the Russian Матч ТВ (Match TV) Nobel Arustamyan hasn’t been accredited for UEFA Euro 2020. This is what Russian commentator Vasily Utkin informed on social networks, adding that the organizing committee in Baku obstructed Arustamyan’s participation.

“If there is bestial injustice in the world, here it is. Theoretically speaking, Nobel Arustamyan doesn’t cover Euro 2020 and hasn’t been accredited because the organizing committees of all the cities need to approve the accreditation. Baku blocked Nobel who is, by the way, originally from Baku. What is this, if not depriving a person of his profession, on the basis of convictions and national belonging?” Euro 2020 organizing committee in Baku, accept my cold contempt,” Vasily Utkin wrote.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Euro 2020 was postponed for a year and will be held from June 11 to July 11, 2021. For the first time, the final tournament of Euro 2020 will be held in 11 cities, including London, Munich, Rome, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Seville, Budapest, Saint Petersburg, Glasgow and Baku.
