Mkhitaryan asks his agent to seek new club for him

Armenian national team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan plans to leave Roma at the end of this season.

According to Il Tempo, the 32-year-old footballer has instructed his agent Mino Raiola to seek a new club for him, and the Italian agent has already offered Mkhitaryan's services to Milan.

The Armenian midfielder must make a final decision on his future in Roma by May 31. Otherwise, he will have to extend his current contract with the club.

Mkhitaryan wants to leave Roma due to the appointment of Jose Mourinho as the team's manager. The Armenian international had worked with the Portuguese specialist at Manchester United for 18 months—from 2016 to 2018.

The current contract between Mkhitaryan and Roma is expected to run until June 30.

Earlier it became known that Juventus and Zenit Saint Petersburg were interested in his services.
