Real Madrid’s French manager Zinedine Zidane has decided to quit the team this summer, TeleMadrid reports, adding that the 48-year-old football manager is tired of the physical and psychological tension in Real Madrid.
Zidane assumed the position of manager of Real Madrid for the second time in 2019. Before that, he was managing the Spain national team (2016-18).
Under Zidane’s leadership, Real Madrid became a multiple cup winner of the Champions League and two-time champion of Spain.
After 36 rounds of the current Spanish championship, Real Madrid are in second place with 78 points and 2 points behind the leading Atletico Madrid.
