Raiola offers Milan to sign contract with Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Roma’s midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s agent Mino Raiola has offered Milan to sign a contract with the senior member of the Armenia national football team, Sempremilan reports, citing Il Tempo.

The Italian agent met with Milan’s representatives to negotiate over the contract of the Italian team’s goalkeeper Gianluigi Donaruma, and during the meeting, he also offered the option of Mkhitaryan. The source reports that Mkhitaryan might become an ideal option for Milan and may replace Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu in the starting lineup.

Earlier, rumor had it that Mkhitaryan, 32, wanted to talk to Roma’s newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho before making a final decision for the future (he and Mourinho had collaborated in Manchester United). It was also stated that Mourinho isn’t against collaboration with the Armenian footballer.

Mkhitaryan’s contract with Roma ends on June 30. As reported earlier, Juventus and Russia’s champion FC Zenit Saint Petersburg are interested in his services.
