Fonseca: Mkhitaryan gradually getting back to his best shape

Roma’s Portuguese manager Paulo Fonseca shared his comments on Roma and the Armenia national team’s midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

According to Fonseca, if Mkhitaryan hadn’t missed so many games due to his injury, things might have been different, even though Roma wasn’t playing bad without him. Fonseca added that Henrikh is a key player for the team and is gradually getting back to his best shape, the football club’s press service reports.

This summer, Paulo Fonseca will be replaced by Portuguese Jose Mourinho. Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract with Roma ends this summer.
