Manchester United’s striker Mason Greenwood has exceeded the record set by the football club’s legendary Wayne Rooney.
After scoring a goal during the game with Aston Vila in the 35th leg of the English football championship, the English footballer, who hasn’t turned 20 yet, scored his 16th goal. Rooney scored 15 goals in the English football championship as a member of Manchester United before turning 20.
In February 2021, Greenwood and Manchester United signed a new contract that will end in June 2025.
