6 police officers injured after clash with Manchester United's fans

Police officers of Manchester were hurt due to the aggressive behavior of fans of England’s 20-time champion Manchester United, Goal.com.

Six police officers received injuries after the clash with the fans. One of the police officers received an eye injury, another was hit with a bottle, and fans kicked another police officer and dragged the latter on the grass. A 28-year-old man was arrested after being suspected of provoking the clash against police officers.

The Liverpool-Manchester United match of the 34th leg of the English football championship wasn’t held on May 2 for security considerations. Manchester United’s fans held a protest, clashed with police and barged into the field of Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester with the demand for the resignation of the Glazers, who own Manchester United.
