During the starting game of the 17th round of the Armenian football championship, Vanadzor's FC Lori played against vice-champion and cup winner, Yerevan's FC Noah and won 2-0.
FC Lori's newcomer, Serbian forward Nikoa Popovic scored the first goal with a head trick at the 12th minute of the match, and Ghukas Poghosyan, who came out to the field as a replacement, scored the second goal for the team in the added time.
After 14 games, FC Lori scored 23 points and climbed to second place, while FC Noah are in 5th place with 19 points after 13 matches.
