Viktor Lukashenko, son of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, has replaced his father at the helm of the country’s National Olympic Committee.
Alexander Lukashenko had been at the helm of the National Olympic Committee since 1997, and his son had been the organization’s first vice-president since 2019.
