Hernan Crespo scores first title as coach (PHOTOS)

Former striker for the Argentina national football team, Lazio, Milan and Chelsea Hernan Crespo has scored his first title as a coach.

Since January 2020, the 45-year-old coach has been coaching Argentina’s Defensa y Justicia with which he became the winner of the Copa Sudamericana (the second most prestigious football club championship in South America after Copa Libertadores).

In the final, Crespo’s team confidently beat Argentina’s Lanus 3-0. Crespo celebrated the victory with his daughter. Thanks to this victory, Defensa y Justicia scored a pass to the Copa Libertadores.

Crespo started pursuing his career in coaching in 2014 in Italy, and a year later, he received the UEFA Pro license. He started coaching in the Parma system, and then coached Modena and Banfield.
