Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan's participation in their upcoming Italian Serie A clash against Spezia is uncertain.
According to Corriere dello Sport, ever since Roma’s Coppa Italia match against Spezia, the captain of the Armenian national football team has muscle issues, due to which he worked with an individual program during the previous training session of Roma.
The Roma-Spezia clash is slated for Saturday and will kick off at 6pm Armenia time.
In the current season of the Serie A, Mkhitaryan, 32, has scored 8 goals and made 8 assists in 18 appearances so far for Roma.
