Mario Mandzukic undergoes checkup to join Milan

Former forward for Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus Mario Mandzukic is in Italy and has undergone a checkup for his transfer to Milan, Calciomercato reported.

The 34-year-old Croatian footballer is expected to sign a six-month contract with Milan with a salary of EUR 1,800,000.

Mandzukic has joined Milan as a free agent. He used to play for Qatar’s Al Duhahil, which he left in July 2020.

Throughout his career as a member of football clubs, Mandzukic played 497 official matches, scored 197 goals and made 84 passes for goals.
