Barcelona's Argentine striker Lionel Messi could be suspended for four matches after receiving a red card in their Spanish Super Cup final against Athletic Bilbao,
AS reported. If the 33-year-old star footballer's action that got him red-carded is to be considered intentional aggression, he will miss four matches.
This was Messi’s first red card of his professional career in his 753 appearances for the main Barca squad.
