Armenian wrestlers training in Armenia's Tsaghkadzor

Armenia’s wrestling teams have started training ahead of the new season.

From January 10 to 24, the adult and youth Greco-Roman style wrestling teams, as well as the adult freestyle wrestling team of Armenia are training in Tsaghkadzor, as reported the press service of the Armenian Wrestling Federation.

The Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games will be held on July 23-August 8 after being postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Currently, Armenia has 2 passes to Greco-Roman wrestling at the Olympic Games (Karapet Chalyan, 77 kg, Artur Aleksanyan, 97 kg).
