AC Milan attacking midfielder Daniel Maldini played in his club’s Italian Serie A clash against Juventus on Wednesday, entering the pitch in the 81st minute of the game.
This was the sixth Serie A appearance by the son of the legendary Milan captain, Paolo Maldini.
Thus, the Maldini family have played 1,000 matches in total at Milan in the top Italian football league, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
Paolo Maldini's father, Cesare Maldini, played for Milan from 1954 to 1966 and made 347 appearances for the club, while Paolo Maldini played 647 games for Milan from 1984 to 2009. Daniel Maldini's grandfather and father, however, played as defenders.
