Karen Grigoryan became the winner of the Magistral Ciutat de Barcelona tournament held in Barcelona.
The Armenian grandmaster took part in a round-robin tournament with an average rating of 2494 and scored 8 points out of 9 possible, the Armenian Chess Federation press office reports.
Grigoryan won 7 games, defeating 5 grandmasters. He improved his rating by 15 points.
