PSG's Argentine midfielder Angel Di Maria has been banned for four matches due to an incident in the French Ligue 1 second-round match against Marseille, France Football reported.
The 32-year-old footballer has been penalized for spitting on Marseille's Spanish defender Alvaro Gonzalez.
His four-match ban will take effect as of September 29.
Di Maria will be eligible to play in PSG’s next Ligue 1 match—against Reims, but he will miss the next four games.
