Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, 33, bid members of FC Barcelona farewell and is expected to continue his career in Atletico Madrid, AS reports.
Suarez’s contract with FC Barcelona ends in June 2021. He earns EUR 14,000,000 a year. FC Barcelona is offering EUR 7,000,000 for early and unilateral breach of the contract, but Suarez demands the whole amount.
This past season, Suarez participated in 36 matches with FC Barcelona, scoring 21 goals and making 10 passes for goals.
Suarez moved from Liverpool FC to FC Barcelona in 2014.
