First world racket, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic says he will play at US Open.
“I’m happy to confirm that I’ll participate at Cincy Tennis and US Open this year. It was not an easy decision to make with all the obstacles and challenges on many sides, but the prospect of competing again makes me really excited,” Djokovic tweeted.
Earlier, the US Open’s current champion, Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal had refused to play at the US Open due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The US Open is set to kick off on August 31.
