Zidane wishes VAR wasn't used in football for people to understand that it's simply impossible without it

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane spoke about the heated discussions over the VAR.

According to him, the VAR system is used in football so that any controversial episode does not have an impact on the final result.

Zidane said he would like the VAR not to be used in football so that people can see that it is not possible without it.

Premier League claimed that VAR got three penalty decisions wrong during Thursday clashes, Give Me Sport reported.

The first mistake:

Tottenham were not given a penalty. After the clash, Mourinho noted: “In the world, everybody knows that is a penalty. And I say everybody, I mean everybody.”

But the VAR referee, Michael Oliver, decided not to give it.

The second mistake:

Fernandes and Manchester United were awarded a penalty.

The Premier League noted: “It was the wrong decision. It should have been overturned by VAR but wasn't and should actually have been a foul on Konsa."

The third mistake:

The Premier League also admitted Southampton should not have been awarded a spot-kick.
