FIFA President addresses message to football community

President of FIFA Gianni Infantino, 50, has addressed the football community with a message devoted to COVID-19.

In his message, Infantino stated that during the past few months, we all realized that what is the most important is not football, but health.

He added that these unprecedented times allowed the football community to take a step forward and think about the creation of a progressive football community.

Infantino also said FIFA would like to shape a better football and make it truly global and noted that the growth and success of football clubs are also a major part of this.

FIFA and FIFPro have established an international foundation that will, starting from July 1, start providing financial assistance to the members of football clubs that have declared bankruptcy.
