Armenian squad and Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan took to his Facebook to speak about the extension of his deal with Roma until the end of the current season with a provisional deal for next season.
His one-year lease expired on June 30.
"My story with AS Roma is going ahead.
I'm very pleased, as finally we could reach an agreement for me to stay until the end of the current season, with a provisional deal for next season too. I'm happy to stay because I still have things that I haven’t achieved yet here that I want to achieve.
I’m looking forward to it, I’m looking forward to finishing this restart of the season on a high note and then to be focused on what’s next.
Forza Roma!" Mkhitaryan noted.
