Armenian national squad and Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has had an interview within the “A Day With ...” program sponsored by the Italian Embassy in Armenia.
The captain of the Armenian team talked about his main goal in Roma.
“The first day since I've arrived here in Roma, I felt very good in the club, in the city and everything was great. And of course, it would be nice to stay here. The main target will be to have a Champions League gap and obviously to play and win titles."
"I have not a lot left for my football career but I'm pretty sure that I'm doing my best to achieve something. Because at the end of your football career, everyone will think about you, what did you do for the club, have you won any title for the club, and how have you played for the club."
According to Mkhitaryan, people often underestimate the Italian football, but playing here is very interesting as Serie A is getting better every year, and last year's transfers speak for themselves.
