UFC President Dana White has commented on the cancellation of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs American Tony Ferguson fight, Sports Yahoo reported.
“Everyone knew he’s not fighting,” White said via text message
Asked if he’d come up with a new main event or a location of the new fight, he wrote: “I’m not telling the media anything about the details of the fight.”
Earlier, Khabib Nurmagomedov said he refused to leave Russia to fight Ferguson amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson has been canceled for the fifth time. The fight was scheduled for April 18 in Las Vegas.
