Eight West Ham players are suspected of having a coronavirus, The Telegraph reported.
All of them were self-isolated with family members.
"I am relieved to say they are all showing mild symptoms and, along with their families, seem to be well,” the club's vice-chairman, Karren Brady noted. ”But it is no more than a handshake, sneeze or cough away from any of us, so no one should be complacent.”
Quarantine has been announced at West Ham until April 13.
