The Canadian team will not participate in the Tokyo Olympics, CTV News reported.
The Canadian Olympic Committee and Canadian Paralympic Committee issued joint statements on Sunday saying that they refuse to participate in Tokyo unless the Games are pushed back a year.
Earlier, IOC President Thomas Bach made a statement regarding the possible postponement of the Olympics.
