The European Individual Chess Championship to be held in Slovenia in May has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the European Chess Union (ECU) press service reported.
It was scheduled for May 17-30 in Slovenia. However, the championship will take place from December 8 to 21.
Almost all sporting events in Europe have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
