Simeone: We couldn't score and the responsibility is absolutely mine

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone commented on the defeat against Cultural Leonesa, Marca reported.

"I have the desire to work like every day since I arrived, the penalties or the extra time in the Champions League didn't change me, nor will going out in this round," Simeone said bluntly.

"I have an important squad and results will come soon. We didn't have the decisiveness we needed to have, Vitolo had chances, Saul with a header, Thomas... We had a few," Simeone admitted.

"We had playing situations and goal chances, their goalkeeper had a fantastic night, the rival team played a great game and had ambition and hope.We couldn't score and the responsibility is absolutely mine."

Atletico lost to Cultural Leonesa and dropped out of the fight.
