Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote intends to buy the shares of Arsenal, The Sun reports.
He said they were creating a company that will enable them to acquire Arsenal in the future.
Dangote said Arsenal is a club he always dreamed of buying.
"I'm trying to finish building the company and then after we finish, maybe some time in 2021 we can,” he said.
The wealth of Aliko Dangote, who is Africa's richest man, is estimated at about $11bn.
