The administration of Juventus is planning on extending the period of the contract with the team’s Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuain, reports Calciomercato.
According to the source, Juventus will soon start talks with Higuain, but under the new contract, the Argentine forward will receive a lower salary. By the current contract, the 32-year-old footballer receives EUR 7.5 million a year.
Gonzalo Higuain’s contract with Italy’s champion will end in June 2021.
This season, Higuain participated in 14 matches with Juventus, scoring 3 goals and making 4 passes for goals.
