Wales manager Ryan Giggs said he would not let Gareth Bale play golf during the EURO 2020.
Welsh FA chief executive Jonathan Ford said: “Ryan is clear to make sure that while in camp our focus should just be on the football”, The Sun reported.
“You can’t be in a situation where you have players risking their health and fitness by playing golf. I appreciate some players look at it differently.”
Wales is included in Group A together with Turkey, Italy and Switzerland.
The tournament will run from June 12 to July 12.
