Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has not discussed “Wales, golf, Madrid” moment with midfielder Gareth Bale.
"When he returned, I spoke to him just like I do with all the players. We spoke about on-the-pitch matters, not off-the-pitch matters,” Marca quotes Zidane.
The coach said everyone should focus on football, not off-the-pitch situation and speculations.
“I think he can be a decisive player again and I only think about that. I am counting on Bale, that's nothing new,” he said.
After Wales’ victory over Hungary in EURO 2020 qualifying match, Bale raised “Wales, golf, Madrid” flag, a move that outraged Real.
