Platini slams VAR

Former President of UEFA Michel Platini shared information about the effectiveness of the VAR system that referees use in football.

“The VAR isn’t solving the current problems in football and is only concealing them. I am against the VAR since it doesn’t meet the expectations,” Platini said, reports Rai Sport.

The VAR has been used in football since 2017, and not all the decisions of the VAR have been accepted by footballers and coaches.

Head coaches of Manchester City, Juventus and Inter Milan Josep Guardiola, Maurizio Sarri and Antonio Conte have also talked about the flaws of the VAR in the past.
