Arsen Torosyan: National football team head coach appointment is reserved to Executive Committee

Minister of Healthcare of Armenia, member of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia Arsen Torosyan today commented on the appointment of Abraham Khashmanyan to the post of head coach of the Armenian national team without a discussion or vote in the Executive Committee.

“The appointment of the head coach is reserved to the Executive Committee. There had to be a nomination, vote and appointment, but this isn’t how it went.

I assume that there is a procedure to express lack of confidence in the President of the Football Federation of Armenia,” Arsen Torosyan stated.

Yesterday the Football Federation of Armenia posted on his official website the news about the appointment of former head coach of FC Alashkert Abraham Khashmanyan to the post of head coach of the Armenian national football team.
