Armenia’s representative at the U23 World Wrestling Championships Davit Ovasapyan (130 kg) lost to Georgia’s Zviadi Pataridze 1-4 in the semi-final match of Greco-Roman wrestling and will be competing for the bronze medal.
The Armenian wrestler began from the 1/8 final where he outscored his Romanian opponent Lenard Berei 3-0. In the quarter final, Ovasapyan beat Belarusian wrestler Ilya Yudshuts 6-0.
The competition for the bronze medal will take place on Saturday.
