Boca Juniors midfielder Daniele de Rossi may return to Roma, Sky Italia reported.
Roma management offered De Rossi, 36, the post of coach of one of the club children’s teams.
De Rossi played for Roma from 2000 to 2019.
The contract of the Italian football player with the Argentine club will expire in summer 2020.
