Legendary Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has been fired from heading the club’s Juvenil A team, Goal reported.
Barcelona do not report the reasons for Valdes’ resignation, however, the Spanish media reported that the relationship between Valdes and Barcelona leadership was strained, because the changes in the Barca youth team, carried out by the ex-goalkeeper, displeased the club’s leadership.
Victor Valdes took up the position of head coach of the Barcelona youth team this summer.
As a football player, Valdes played with Barcelona in 2000-2014.
