FC Barcelona’s 16-year-old striker Ansu Fati may participate in the upcoming matches of the selective stage of the European championship as part of Spain’s national football team.
According to Cadena SER, the Spanish national football team’s head coach Robert Morena has included Fati in the list of 40 footballers and will make the final decision to send an invitation to the young striker after FC Barcelona’s match with Inter during the second round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Ansu Fati acquired Spanish citizenship in September.
FC Barcelona will compete with Inter on October 2.
