Cristiano Ronaldo could not hide tears when speaking about his father who died when football star was 20 years old.
His father died of liver failure at the age of 52 after battling alcoholism, Express reported.
Ronaldo said his father could not see his triumph. “My family see, my mum, my brothers, even my old son, but my father, he didn't see nothing, and it was… he died young,” Ronaldo said in an interview with Piers Morgan after he saw a footage of his father that he had never seen before.
