Europa League: FC Ararat-Armenia beating Dudelange

Luxembourg’s champion Dudelange is hosting Armenia’s football champion, Yerevan’s FC Ararat-Armenia during the return match of the final qualifying round of the Europa League.

After the first half, Vardan Minasyan’s team is beating Dudelange 1-0.

At the 21^st minute, the Armenian team obtained the right to an 11-meter kick, but the goalkeeper saved the ball after Kobyalko’s kick. At the 24^th minute, Dutch forward Mailson Lima pushed Armenia’s champions forward.

President of the Football Federation of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan and owner of FC Ararat-Armenia Samvel Karapetyan are also at Josy Barthel Stadium in Luxembourg.

Armenia’s football team has made it to the play-off of the Europa League for the first time in the history of Armenian football. In the previous two qualifying rounds of the Europa League, FC Ararat-Armenia beat Gibraltar’s champion Lincoln (2-0, 2-1) and Georgia’s champion Saburtalo (1-2, 2-0). Vardan Minasyan’s team didn’t beat Sweden’s champion AIK (2-1, 1-3) in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
