Football Federation of Armenia President suspends 3 footballers' disciplinary penalties

The disciplinary penalties against three footballers have been suspended upon the decision of President of the Football Federation of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan.

Taking into consideration the motion filed by football manager of the Armenian national football team Armen Gyulbudaghyants, the common interests of the Armenian national football team and Armenian football and the need for member of the Armenian national football team Erik Vardanyan to participate in the football matches under the pre-game trainings procedure and based on Article 29.01 of the Code of Ethics of the Football Federation of Armenia, it was decided to suspend the disciplinary liability measure applied against member of FC Pyunik Erik Vardanyan (being disqualified from five matches, three of which have already been canceled), as reported on the website of the Football Federation of Armenia.

Taking into consideration the principles of fairness and equality in football, the disciplinary liability measure (being disqualified from five matches, four of which have already been canceled) applied against member of FC Lori Williams Ikechukvu Nvani and the disciplinary liability measure (being disqualified from seven matches, five of which have already been canceled) have also been suspended. These decisions enter into force from the moment they are rendered.
