Monaco intend to sign Icardi, Soccer Link reported.
The club have offered an Argentine striker a salary of seven million euros per year. The parties have not yet reached a deal.
Icardi’s deal with Inter is envisaged until June 2021, but the new club head coach Antonio Conte expressed his distrust of the 26-year-old striker.
During the last season, Icardi scored 17 goals and made five assists in 37 appearances.
