Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola intends to sign a 36-year-old Brazilian national team defender Dani Alves, but the transfer may be hampered by a limit on foreign players, Globo Esporte reported.
According to the regulations of the Premier League, 17 foreign players may be in the application of the club and Manchester City has to sell one legionary to sign Alves.
Pep Guardiola has already worked with a footballer in Barcelona. After leaving PSG, Alves has the status of a free agent.
