Yerevan’s FC Torpedo has signed a contract with experienced midfielder Khoren Veranyan, as reported the newly established football club’s press service.
Veranyan, 32, has played for FC Pyunik, FC Mika, FC Impuls, FC Gandzasar, FC Ararat and FC Alashkert. This past season, he was playing for Gyumri’s FC Shirak.
Khoren Veranyan used to play for Armenia’s youth football team, and this summer, he represented Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) national football team at CONIFA-2019.
Veranyan participated in the test match with FC Aragats as a part of Torpedo and scored one of the 3 goals with an 11-meter kick.
