Today marked the Requiem Service for Armenia’s multiple weightlifting champion Aghasi Aghasyan at St. Mary’s Church in the Malatia-Sebastia district of Yerevan. Aghasi Aghasyan died in a car crash.
He was married and had two children, including 3-year-old Lia and 7-year-old Aghasi Junior.
The Requiem Service was attended by Armenia’s sport representatives, as well as Aghasi Aghasyan’s friends and relatives.
The funeral service will be held on July 10 at 13:00 and will start from the same church.
