Legendary central defender for Milan and the Italian national football team Paolo Maldini has been appointed technical director of Milan football club, reports the Italian football club’s press service. Before this, Maldini was Milan’s director for strategic development.
“Maldini embodies all the values and qualities of our football club. He will help us return the glory that the football club once had,” Milan’s general director Ivan Gazidis said.
Zvonimir Boban has been appointed the football club’s chief football officer.
