Տղամարդկանց Բահամյան Կղզիներ հավաքականը նվաճեց 4х100 մետր փոխանցումավազքի օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը: Սա Բահամյան Կղզիների առաջին ոսկե մեդալն էր 30-րդ Օլիմպիական խաղերում:

Ամերիկացիները նվաճեցին արծաթե մեդալը, իսկ Տրինիդադ եւ Տոբագոյի թիմը բավարարվեց բրոնզով:
